Safari Park Tours: 6-Day Maputoland Safari - Northern Natal

This package tour starts from Durban and includes stops at Nibela Peninsula, Hluhluwe, Tembe Elephant Reserve, Kosi Bay, before heading back to Durban again.
Explore the remote area of Maputoland on KwaZulu Natal's East Coast. This rugged unspoiled terrain is excellent for snorkeling, birding, fishing, canoeing, turtle walks and photography. |

Day 1: Depart Durban for False Bay. Transfer by ferry to Sobhengu Lodge in the remote Nibela Peninsula. Relax and enjoy game walks, birding and fishing (Lunch, dinner). |

Day 2: Return to Hluhluwe by ferry. Spend the day in Hluhluwe Game Reserve tracking the Big Five. Overnight at local lodge (Breakfast, dinner).
Day 3: Depart early for Tembe Elephant Reserve. Game viewing in open 4x4. Overnight in rustic tented camp (Breakfast, lunch & dinner).
Day 4: Depart for Kosi Bay Lodge. Explore the area at leisure. Boat cruise through the four lakes at Kosi. View the traditional fish traps. Night walks to see turtles in season (Breakfast, & dinner).
Day 5: Spend the day snorkeling, fishing, canoeing, bird watching and hiking in this unspoiled area (Breakfast & dinner).
Day 6: Return to Durban.

This tour incorporates the excitement of game viewing, the beauty of historic towns, and the wonders of the Garden Route. The tour starts with a flight from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth, thereafter stops at Salem, Addo, Graaff Reinet, Oudtshoorn, Knysna, before heading back into Cape Town.
Price includes: Accommodation, meals as specified, all entrance fees, domestic flight to Port Elizabeth, guide/driver.
Day 1: Arrive in Port Elizabeth. Transfer to your game lodge at Kariega. Afternoon game drive (Dinner)
Day 2: After your early morning game drive we will depart for Addo Elephant Park where we will observe these enormous animals up close. Drive on to the historic town of Graaff Reinet where we will explore the area. (Dinner & breakfast).
